Museum Het Valkhof

Ancient and modern art come together at Museum Het Valkhof. Their own collections are a treasure, which includes one of the biggest collections of Roman works of art and artefacts in our country. Besides that one can admire exceptional prehistoric and early-mediaeval treasures from Nijmegen and the province of Gelderland.The museum also has a beautiful collection of gold and silver findings on display. These collections are combined with a collection of modern and contemporary art, which is expanding and acquiring more and more additional significance.

The Valkhof is opened Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 am until 5 pm. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the museum is opened from 12 am until 5 pm.
