‘Feel the Luxury of Nijmegen’ will show a bundling of existing and sometimes new events in the city, presented in a luxury way. The theme of the festival is derived of the exhibition ‘Luxury and decadence, living at the Roman gold coast’, which occurs in Museum Het Valkhof in Nijmegen from the 23rd of August 2008 till the 4th of January 2009.

‘Feel the Luxury of Nijmegen’ isn’t a focus on material luxury, but will show more than that. The city has a special state in the Netherlands. ‘Feel the Luxury of Nijmegen’ joins existing and some new events in the city. Numerous of special ‘luxury’ arrangements will be composed by the catering industry and shop owners of the city centre. ‘Feel the Luxury of Nijmegen’ occurs from May till the end of December, the highlight will be of course, the new, large exhibition ‘Luxury and decadence, living at the Roman gold coast’.
