Fashionable shopping in a unique atmosphere

The city of Nijmegen offers you a wide range of shopping facilities. The shopping heart of the city with the bigger shops can be found on Molenstraat, Broerstraat, Ziekerstraat and Burchtstraat. This is surrounded by smaller 'ring streets" like Lange Hezelstraat and Van Welderenstraat, home to exceptional and specialist shops. The shops on Marikenstraat and Moenenstraat are fine examples of modern architecture.

Are you looking for a rare stamp, a special comic book for your collection, a travel guide which is not available anywhere else or a great carnival costume? Van Welderenstraat has some lovely specialist shops with something for everyone!

How about strolling along streets surrounded by beautiful old buildings on Lange Hezelstraat (see picture), where you can buy antiques, gifts and clothes at small exceptional shops.

Around the Molenstraat, Broerstraat, Ziekerstraat and Burchtstraat, you will find Nijmegen's shopping heart. Here you will find the Molenpoort shopping centre and a range of stores, shops and boutiques offering everything your heart desires.

You can also take a breather at one of the many bustling pavements cafés, restaurants, lunchrooms and bars.

Outside the city
Of course you can also shop outside the city centre in one of the many neighbourhood shopping centres. Near Station Dukenburg and the A73 (exit Nijmegen/Wijchen), you will find Dukenburg shopping mall and the Woonboulevard (furniture and interior design shops).
